XM Roady2 install
Wife got me an early Xmas present. Have a 04 SCAB XLT, no center consol. Anybody have any tips on install? It has a cig plug for power, cassette adaptor,and a magnetic antenna. Seems like a lot of loose wires, not a clean look like I was hoping. Maybe a pro install Job?

i just installed one on my 05 xlt this weekend. i used a direct connect kit that i picked up at circuit city with a wire wrap around it i have 4 inchs of visible wire and it is singled up so it looks very professional without loose wires everywhere

The Roady 2 is junk. The SkyFi 2 and other XM radios are built better and last longer. For a temporary install, just plug the power cord in the rear outlet. Set the antenna on dash. Flip down the center seat and put the Roady in your cupholder.

If you pry open the radio trim panel, you can hide the antenna wire in there.
