snow chains...kinda
I remember seeing an add in an off road magazine for some kind of rubber snow chain things... they kind of looked like spider webs. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I can't seem to find the add again. Also, are they worth a damn? seemed like a cool concept. Where can I find them? Are they ok to use on an IFS truck like my '00 f-150 4x4?

You have a truck....at least get the cable chains. Those rubber deals are great if you have a car but I tried a set about 5 years ago and lost them on the first small bit of pavement with no snow. And this was on a car.
