Good scanner
Just bought a 92 f-150 and got a check engine light coming on when I'm getting on the highway. It turns on at about 3000 rpm, but as soon as I shift it goes right out. I was wondering what scanner seems to work the best for a resonable price. Its a 5.0l with a five speed if anybody has any ideas. The idle also hangs up a little when I shift, and when I restart it after its been warmed up it rev's up to about 2000 rpm.

You don't need a scanner, just a paper clip. Go to <a href="http://www.fordfuelinjection.com" target="new">Ford fuel injection</a> or <a href="http://www.broncodata.com" target="new">Bronco Data</a> to get a how to on pulling the codes.
