Have you all seen the new 69 camero bodies being stamped? I have not read the whole story, but you can now buy a brand new steel-stamped Camero. I think its only offered as a convertable at this point but the hard top is in works. The same company is also looking at the 67-68 mustangs as soon as they work out things with Ford.
hmm new 69 camaro bodies im thinking 300 i6 and a three speed nice stamped steel "powered by ford" valve cover. put some z28 badges and tell the chevy guys it had "one of them broken 302 motors with the distributor at the back"
is there anything those lil sweat shop workers in taiwan doesn't make? i mena i bet you the same kid that made my under pants is welding my injen intake by night
Well, why not a muscle car in a kit? They've been making Shelby Cobra kits for decades now, why not make a kit for those unobtainable muscle cars like the Hemi 'Cuda or Camaro RS/SS? Maybe they could go on a Pinto subframe?
Hey Tim,
From what little i have read so far is the metal is a thinner guage. The panels are shipped to the Company. They are assembled in North Carolina and welded on jigs with machines. I will read more when i get my book back at work.
I had read a little diddy about this too. I think they're going for a whole new revolution kind of thing...Year One has a full fiberglass Chevy II they offer as well, and they did an incredible job with it. I think one of these kit Camaro's has been finished too.
