alignment

I had my my alignment done by a shop because my Explorer was pulling to one side. Well, after I got it back, the steering wheel is not straight up and down when I go straight. At least now it does not pull to a side. Any help would be appreciated.

I would say take it back and ask them to line the steering wheel up, it is not that hard to do but they will have to re-align it. I usually ask before they align it. I don't know how many miles are on it, but also keep in mind that the tie-rod ends may be a little worn too.

If the tie rods are worn then the shop shouldn't have aligned the truck. Go back and tell them you are unsatisfied with the work and they will fix the problem.

Sometimes allignment can be right on even if steering wheel is not exactly streight. Steering box has adjustment screws on side but they should just re-allign both tie rods. But if its pulling something is not right.
