i said also...that i wish i had enough money OR sweet parents..in your case it is probably a good job and a lot of money
16 myself, got my license the day I turned 16, April 13 of this year. Parents got my Ranger for me July 1st while I was at an ROTC summer leadership school, been devoting all my money to it ever since lol. Best of luck!
Hey strokin, I am just curious, how does a 16 year old manage to buy a fairly new truck like that? When I was 16 I drove quite the pos, and I had a few jobs lol So fill me in man, I could use a truck like yours right now too
Preppypyro, the best thing for you to do to earn enough money to buy a newer truck is to work as many hours as possible under the table. With your age not to many places hire help for more than minimum wage.
I just turned 16 November 15! I'm going to get my license this wednesday or thursday I think.
Congrats! Boy, it's been 4 years since I got my license, but man I can still remember that feeling like it was yesterday. Grats! Careful out there though.

Oh man trust me I know about the hours! I usually put in a minimum of 60 hours a week! But I guess I have a house and a buncha other toys too, can't really expect to have everything sweet @ssed, and my truck is ok! I sure would love a 02 diesel though
I bought my 1996 f150 when i was 14 and paid $5200 cash for it. i had a lawn service in my neighborhood for 4 years and did small engine repair also. then i worked at ace hardware and made enough money to pay for my truck. now i work at my uncles body shop where we do classic car restorations and i bought my f250 (see gallery) but i took out a huge mom and pop loan for it ($15k) and im having a hard time paying it back....yeah srtokin it 7.3..fill us in!
Thats cool, cool1996, I guess when i was 16 I spent alot of my hard earned cash foolishly, alot of partying and stuff! Shoulda saved it for a ride instead!
