three gauge problems

i have a 1999 f250 diesel and i have a three gauge pod to mount abouve the rear view mirror with isspro pyrometer, boost, and trans temp gauges..SoOoOo what i need to know is. where do i put the trans temp sending unit? what should my boost reading be (boost gauge is hooked up and i saw 7psi max...that cant be right) and what should the pyrometer reading maximum be and what is a safe temp to shut it down....thanks alot guys

I don't know what the boost should be. I would go up to one of the Diesel forums and ask. They probably know. As far as mounting the temp sending unit for the tranny, I went to the isspro link, and they sell an aluminum tranny oil pan that has the place for the sending unit.

The tranny sending unit you can just screw into the Test Port on the front of the tranny. Its a 1/4 screw just above the 2nd pan bolt on the drivers side!!
