4x4 shift motor

I just removed my 4x shift motor on my 90 bronco II cleaned the contacts and reinstalled it. Now my 4 Hi works every time but my 4 low sometimes it works and other times it acts like the transmission is in neutral. Is this a mounting issue?

Check your contacts again. try actuating the motor not installed and see if it works. Maybe find a kit or make a system to have it manual shift?
