Factory Amp??

Factory Amp??
I have the 'premium' stereo in my '00x. I have been told by some there is a factory amp, but some people say it is just built into the head unit. Can anyone tell me for sure, and if I do have a seperate amp, where it is?? I am going to start installing some new speaker and putting my amp in it to power them so it would be nice to know before I tear my truck apart

I talked to my friend who put my system in. He said he thinks, it might in the right rear compartment where the 2nd AC unit is. He wasn't positive tho'
Another option would be to go up to the library and on their computer go to Mitchellondemand5 (?) under Research and it should have diagrams for the system.
Or you could just call Siderbox when he is at work at Ford and ask him to look it up!
