79 F250 timing for 460

79 F250 timing for 460

Anyone know the stock timing specs for '79 460 with 4bbl carb, I'm thinking its 10 degrees BTC? Thanks

My book says 14BTDC for a 1979 460.

the valve cover on my 78 460 says 12 degrees BTDC at 650 RPMs....i run from 12-14, 14 degrees gives me more power but less mileage....

i run 12, but my 460 is a 73 with 70 heads
