Does anyone remember...

Does anyone remember a few years back when i think it was chevy or introduced that 4-wheel turning system where the front two would turn, and the back would turn in as well? I saw a few commecials for them years ago and thought they were neat. i guess they must have not been, because i haven't heard of anything of the sorts since.

Honda, Mazda and I think Nissan tried the four wheel steer gimmik back in the 1980's and gave up on it.

In addition to being very expensive, I think it was only available on the high end vehicles.

Yeah, right up there with the Envoy XUV with the retracting roof panel in back. They had one at the Rochester Auto Show this year, 4 weeks AFTER GMC announced they were dropping it. The salesman insisted he could still order one.
