NP 435 tranny

hey everyone,
I'm wanting to know if a NP 435 attached to a 400M will work for a 360.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

sorry it won't differen't bolt patterens you can change the bellhousing and motor mounts and make this work
i can't help much more i don't work on many FE motors

as long as you check to make sure that the input shaft on your old trans, and the 435 are the same, and you can get the right bell, or use yours it will work

Been there. Done that. Same trans,same input shaft.Just change the bell houseing..

1979 F350,4x4,NP435,5:13 gears,Detroit locker in rear,ABR in the front,360 with 428 crank & rods,390 HP heads,Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch,MSD Ignition,39.5x18 Boggers,bucket seat out of a Lightning,& a Southern Body that is perfect.
