WLS in Chicago
After reading the Wolfman Jack/Howard stern thread, got to wondering how many out there of us grew up listening to WLS? And where are/were you at the time? I remember back in the late 60s listening in Georgia.

Used to listen to WLS as a kid, living in Kingsport, Tennessee. (Early to mid '60s.)
The 'skip' would bring it in real good.
I haven't heard of, or thought of WLS in years.

Listened to WLS when I was a kid, 1959 into the early 60's. I remember when Dick Biondi was fired too. Was not aware he ever came back to WLS though......

Larry Lujack was the DJ I remember listening to on WLS back in the early '70's. Back when AM still ruled!

Late night, back in the late 70's, I listened to "Uncle Larry" out here in the fields... I even climbed out a window to put up an antenna so I could pick up the signal. My dad heard me coming back in and thought I was trying to sneak in after a night out.
