4" vs 5" exhaust

4" vs 5" exhaust
Is the benefits of a 5" exhaust kit over a 4" kit worth the cost? I know that it will be louder when working the truck but what about cooler EGT's and exhaust flow. I've done the 6637 mod already and gutted the kitty and striaght pipe in the muffler. Thanks

i think it depends what your going to do to your truck in the future. i run a 5" in mine ive never had a 4" but i run a larger turbo and injector also. i dont think its any louder than the 4" i have friends with 4 and cant tell, the 5 is a little deeper toned. i seem to always run lower egts than thoose guys but none of us have identical setups so its not a very good comparison. i think if your planning on getting larger injectors in the future over a 200cc shot i would go 5" definately but.....its your truck too.
