Exclamation superchips problem

A friend of mine just bought a 97 F-250HD 4x4 7.3L turbo diesel and we tried hooking up my superchips programer to it (i have a 96 F-350 7.3L TD) and everything was going just fine, it saved current stock setting and right after that right before it started to load the new settings it gave me a code 127 soo we started over cause normally you can just hook it back up and it will start where you left off....well in this case we cant even get our stock settings back loaded and we cant even get the wait to start light to come on, so therefor the truck wont even start. we have tried resetting the batteries and pretty much everything. but nothing it just turns over like it would if its outta fuel. does anyone hae any idea what i could possibly do to fix it since it is the hollidays and noone is at work or anything? your time would be greatly appreciated!

First of the Superchips is Vin locked to a vehicle, meaning you CANT share one unit between two vehicles.

Im not sure if their is anything you can do assuming you tried everything (batteries, reload the tuner, clear the codes...) You might just have to wait till Superchips is open and call them up to get a fix.

Question

well we took the truck into ford dealership and i guess they cant even get the diagnostics to read it they are saying that the pcm is fried. they are charging me about $700 to fix it. i am trying to shop around to find a cheaper one mabye a used one or something. i was kinda wandering if you have to program the new one to that certian truck or if one that is already programmed with stock settings out of a used truck would work..?

also i am trying to find out if i could send the programmer back to superchips (its a 03' programmer and i think it is out of warranty) and have it reset cause his stock settings are still in it but we never got to program it for anyother settings soo i wander if i explain what happened, if they would beable to do anything for me. if anyone has any idea it would be greatful

$700? Good grief, you can buy PCM's for half that price! Do a Google search, plenty come up.
