Carter 1bbl Lower gasket Leak, I Hope!

I have a slight leak from the LOWER FRONT area of my carb.I checked it out and it looks like there is a thin gasket with a screw just under the cornerwhere the leak originates from.

Question for experienced 1bbl guys/gals...IS there a screw there that I might tighten to stop this "Dreaded Fuel OOZZing"? If I have to remove the carb from the intake I will but was praying for a easy fix on this.

Opinions please.

yes you have to take the carb off the intake and tighten the bottom screws.

It pretty common for them to loosen up.

390 called it. The "ooze" turned into a bona fide leak. The carb ( and I ) spent Thanksgiving afternoon on the garage workbench. It's torn down, cleaned and I'll get the rebuild kit tomorrow. Then it's back on the engine. I just bought this vehicle and it's been sitting for most of two years in a resto shop not being used ( it was the "shop truck" a while back). Now I'm running it and things are getting "shaken loose". Lots of dry, soft rubber lines, plastic fittings and brittle vacuum lines to be replaced also. I'm new to trucks and this motor so I'm treading lightly as I go. Thanks for the replies guys.
