wont start when cold
1977 ford f150. 302 engine. Now that it is starting to get cold out my truck is acting up a bit. When its cold (has not been started in a while) it will crank fine but wont start up for about one minute. IT IS NOT THE CARB. I have checked this already. Now if i simply turn the key onto the on position and wait one minute or so then it fires right up. What in the world is causing this? It almost seems like something in the ignition needs to warm up before it will fire. I'm thinking a coil, ignition module box or mag pick-up. any thoughts on this? It is definenty something in the ignition though.

its not the carb, i allready stated that! it is electrical, its not getting spark unless the key is on for about 1 minute. the choke is not electric so that would not matter. something is not letting it get spark for about a minute when cold.
