I can't find anything telling me what my idle rpm's should be or, what i would be red lining at. I've got a '79 bronco with a 400 and
am doing my first restoration on it! IM very exited!!!

Just set it by ear, if you know what an engine should sound like at idle. I'd say it should be around 750 RPMs if its a manual trans. An automatic naturally is a little higher, about 1000 in park and 700-800 in gear. You should be able to pretty much set it by ear. Just make sure the motor is at normal operating temperature when you set it, because setting it cold may make it idle higher than you anticipated once it's warmed up.

700-1000rpm's at idle in neautral is way too high. Should be no more than maybe 650! I'm not sure about "red line" though, I wouldn't push it past 4000-4200 myself though.
