292 Timing Marks

292 Timing Marks
Hey all...
I've cross posted this in the Y-block forum as well.
I'm pulling my hair out here.
64 F100 w/ a 292.
I'm under the impression that my timing chain jumped. Got all the parts off, but...I can't find any marks on either one of the gears.
Am I missing something?

There should be a dot on each gear. On the crank gear if key is at ~2 o-clock the dot should be at 3 o-clock and on the cam key way at 7 o-clock dot at 3 o-clock there should be 12 pins in the chain between the two marks.

Per the shop manual, the timing marks on the gears face to the right, oil filter side, and must have 12 pins between marks. The timing marks are small dots on the gears. If you want I can scan a pic from the manual and email it.
