I've been looking a reading for a while now. I need to rebuild the motor in my 93 Bronco. Right now I have the stock 351w. This is what I've come up with, I looking for good bottom end for towing. My question is will this run on my stock SD?
Edelbrock 1.90/1.60" 60cc heads
Comp Cams 35-255-25
Edelbrock EFI Intake
BBK 56mm TB
I plan on replacing the injectors as well, will the stock 19lb work?
I'm thinking pretty stock as far as the everything else goes including the block, maybe 30 over. I already have headers and will do the exhaust work afterwards.
Looks like a good combo and it'll all work well with a speed density computer.I imagine you'll be keeping the rpms down so those 19# injectors should work well(I ran my combo on the stock 19s for over a year AFR185s,comp XE cam,and GT40 intake shifting at 5400).If you do decide to upgrade injectors you'll need some sort of tuning devise(EEC tuner,Tweecer,Chip,SCT) or your Bronco will not run right with the larger injectors.
fishin, that is a great combo and you picked the right parts to keep the computer happy and yourself driven. look into the bassini Y pipe an run 3" pipe from there out stock location with your choice of muffler of course. this will compliment your low end power along with some mid range. keep us posted
Thanks for the replies, did a lot of lookin before I decided upon that. One more question though and not that big. What kind of numbers do you think I can expect from that?
Thanks Again
