The biggest advantage of a Weiand is the thickness of the aluminum. Its pretty damn thick compared to edelbrock maybe twice as thick? I had one on my 400m and that motor ran like a raped ape but i didnt own the truck long enough to notice performance advantages.
i would put the weiand with the edelbrock streetmaster... i've run both and they are good intakes.. not as good as the performer rpm by any means though.. they say the blue thunder is even better than the rpm but it's a bit more cash- i've never run one myself...
I have a Weiand on my 400 but its not a Stealth. Just looking at the design I like the Stealth. I want my peak hp and torque around 3000 rpm. I am going to be towing and thats where the rpm's will be at 65 mph.
I am not sure its worth $200 more than the Edelbrock.
In any case, I think the Edel RPM is the best bet for the money in a mild to medium FE powered truck. If you have extra to spend on the intake, consider the Blue Thunder.
