"X" SPRINGS
The part number was changed in 2002. The previous poster was close. The old part number was F81Z-5310-AG. The latest part number is 2C3Z-5310-AF as you stated. They are quite stiff, but if you're going to put a decent sized plow on your truck, they are the ones to use. My truck had code "S" springs in it (4000 pounds), and when I lifted my Fisher 8 foot HD series plow (over 800 pounds), the truck took a 3" nosedive. Driving with it was even more interesting. Every dip in the road made the front of the truck take about a 5-6 inch dip, and it was uncontrollable. After I installed the "X" springs, the truck sat about 2 inches higher with no plow, and when I install & lift the plow, it dips no more than 1/2 inch. With the plow on, it rides nice & it is much easier to control.
