Possibly a dumb question
What is that little bottle on the intake pipe between the airbox and the valve cover vent hose?

Hmmm...I'm confused. I don't know what you're talking about. Is this on a 2V or 3V V10?

Sorry. It is on the 3V V10. It is a small plastic "bottle" hose-clamped to a nipple on the intake pipe. There aren't any wires attached to it.

May be a resonator in the intake.

I don't think I can post pictures on here. I could put them in an email. Maybe it is a resonator. It is pretty small - about 2" x 4" x ", I think.

Maybe it is just a cover for that port for an easy nitrous setup

nos? i like freds thought.under the maniflod plumbing like we have on the family used f150/5.0.
i do wonder at times about a v10 on a juice bottle ?????

my first thought was for intake noise tuning. But normally the air cavity is pretty large and sits inside the fender of most Fords. Unless it was added after the computers had drawn up and manufactured all the parts for the robots to weld together on the assembly line.

That's a resonator.

Looks as if it can be replaced with something else for a different market...maybe?
