Will it stop
My 1979 F150 supercab 351M C-6, will pull my 27 ft Dutchman fifth wheel, but what about stopping it coming down those big mountains in the Idaho? Will i be fine or should i get a 3/4 or 1 ton truck? thanks, jessemechanic

Do you mean you DON'T have an aftermarket electric brake actuating system in your truck to run the trailer brakes?

Set the trailer brake switch so they come on at the same time as the truck rear brakes do.
