Throttle Positioning Sensor
I was reading some of the other posts and saw that someone had said that the wires coming out of the TPS were supposed to be pointing toward the Air Idle Bypass valve. I noticed that mine was pointing the opposite direction, so I changed it. I have been having high idle speeds and very rich running conditions since rebuilding my 351W from day 1. It also runs very rough like a vacuum leak (which I have been trying to locate with no success) for some time. Now it won't start at all. Has fire and seems to be flooded but no amount of cranking with the pedal to the floor will make it start. Any ideas will be considered and tried unless I haven't already done it. Thanks

You need to check the output voltage with the key on. In the idle position, it should be .90 To .99V. Also, check the vacuum line to the MAP sensor to make sure that it is hooked up and not cracked.
