I was driving along last night and my overhead cluster w/ the compass, fuel economy, etc., flashed on and off several times and them went out. Since the fuse to it is connected to other things I was wondering where I should begin to look for a wire or something. Appriciate the help.
Somebody will jump in here shortly with the link on how to repair the overhead display. (I thought I saved the link, if I did, I can't find it at the moment) Apparently the solder on the circuit board comes loose around one or more of th resistors. They can be re-soldered or replaced for a couple of bucks.
Hopefully thats all thats wrong with yours.
EDIT: Matt I found the link on how to fix the display. I'll have to email you the link, FTE won't let me post it here. I sent you a PM requesting your email address.
Fellas, when you PM me, for the info, you'll need to spell out your email address....try replacing the @ with "at". Maybe leave some spaces between the words. FTE software strips out the email addresses to protect you from SPAM, it strips it from the PM's also.
I also have a problem with my display,....was wondering if U could e-mail the link on how to repair it to me as well?
Thanks, Lou
Loujr: You'll need to spell out your email address (don't use the @) FTE does not allow email addresses to be posted for the public to see. They are also stripped from Private Messages.
You can update your profile, and make your email available that way.
