PSD - valve actuation

My ignorance will be showing, but ...

Does the PSD have a timing belt, chain or pushrods? If a belt, what is the change interval?

The PSD timing is run by gears, one cam, one crank.

Yeah...the change schedule is never, unless it breaks a tooth. Anybody ever break a gear drive timing set?
