2000 Ford Explorer stalls at stoplights

4.0 V6, runs fine until you pull up to a stop sign or light, then it dies, starts right back up. ANy ideas? Thanks!

Try cleaning the IAC.

Thanks, I will do a search here and find what I can on cleaning the IAC, it is not my car and I know very little about the 4.0. But you have given me a good starting point, Thanks!!

Also, the throttle plate should be cleaned on both sides every six months.
