hey...i looked around for a while, and i couldn't find the answer to this question.
i just picked up a 1966 240/300 long block for free, but i don't know what it came out of, and neither does the guy i got it from. it's defintely a truck engine, but is there a way to tell if it's a 240 or 300? i'm going to build it up for higher compression and drop it in my '79. anyone knwo of anything i should watch out for, other than it being ancient?
