Stock Exhaust Differences?

I have an 04 6.0 2Wd Auto build date in 03. As I understand it, the 6.0 with auto trannies have a cat but the standard trannies do not. Is this true? If so are the Dp's different? Or is there just a test pipe in place or something similar? Have I just been misinformed? Thanks

We still have the 7.3l.
Our diesel emissions are a LOT more lax than you guys, but our gas engine regs are tougher. (we don't have yearly check ups though)

My manual '04 came with a diesel equivalent of a catalytic converter.
