No forward
I have a 1990 Supercab (4.9L, E40D tranny) that has no forward gears. Reverse works fine. Prior to the forward gears going out I was having fuse problems due to an aftermarket installed stereo. Is there any connection there? Any suggestions?

Anyone have an experience like this, and what was the solution. Did I somehow end up with Joe's truck? I got a 90 supercab 4.9 e4od with the same problem, only it was like this when I got it. Plus I tried to pull the codes and got a continuous signal, codes not readable. I know I need to check all connections and grounds, but what else?
