Question smoke?

has anybody else's truck blown black smoke when you get into it after disconnecting your egr valve?

naturally, yes, it should blow some more smoke then before. the purpose of disconnecting the EGR valve is to allow ALL exhaust gasses to pass through the turbo and not any of the gasses to get recycled. therefore, all the smoke produced from the engine GOES through the turbo and out the pipe. it should smoke SOME more than before, but it shouldnt plume smoke like a drag truck with stage 3 injectors and drugs.

it doesn't blow hugr thick black clouds like i wish it did, but if you step into it you get some smoke. I really like going up hills and smoking the guy behind me out.

yep, a chip or other performance adder will get you pluming pretty quick.
