clutch equalizer bar
Does anyone know where there might be a new clutch equalizer bar for a 78 f150 4x4? Or does anyone know if other equalizer bars are interchangeable? I checked mine last night and the clutch rod is eating through the eq. bar. Not good! It's obselete at Ford, unless someone is able to find it at their local dealer. Nothing here in Reno, NV. If there is nothing new, then I get to go junkyarding for a replacement! Thanks.

I had excellent luck having a welder build mine (from a '65 Mustang)up with weld then grind it to its original size, you would have to remove your bar from your truck for this though.

Check at Jeff's Bronco Graveyard's online catalog under products for 73-79 broncos/trucks.... look under transmissions they have new and used items such as clutch rods and bushings to the equalizer your looking for. they even have the bushings for the equalizer.

LMC `s catolog has them but the are a little expencive i my opinion you might want to check with the local junk yard first. $119 part #43-6220
