Thumbs up How many fuel pumps??!
I think I have a fuel pump problem with my 1990 F150 lariat. It has two fuel tanks. Does it also have two fuel pumps?

The duel tank set up in F150 has three pumps 1 in each tank and then one along the frame on the left side.

The '90 truck has one high pressure pump in each tank; no pump on the frame rail.

so following logic: If the truck can run with only one pump working: I can put gas in that tank and it will run, if there are no other aflictions.

Correct. Only one pump running = only one fuel tank usable.
