intake port mismatch

will a 64 4V intake fit ok on C8AE-H heads i read that 67 and up most truck heads had shorter intake ports I have a set of C6AE-R heads which i would switch if it makes a noticable differance

The year change on the heads was in 66...Prior, the intake ports are larger....there wasnt a length difference, just a diameter difference, the C6AE-R should be a large port also which should match the Intake to a T..and the C6 head will flow better than the C8's anyway... JMO...
