Missing teeth np435?
i am taking apart my np435 trans and found that there are 4 or 5 teeth missing on the input shaft that the syncro-hub slides on to.
it dosent look like they were worn off is it suposed to be this way? if so why. thanks all.

Missing teeth np435?
I think I recollect seeing what you are talking about when I rebuilt my NP435 about 4 months ago. If we are talking about the same thing, they are there so you can assemble the tranny, i.e. you have to have them lined up right so you can slide everything back together.
