Talking New Toy

I've got a 89 Bronco II given to me. It needs a lift so I can fit my old 33's without trimming body. Is there a lift out there or will this big of a tire kill the axles. I went with my dad to test drive this very truck and went hill climbing on the test drive. That's all it toke I was hooked so I want to do this truck right the first time.

Thanks Vinnie

they make body lifts from 1" to 3" and suspension lifts from 1 1/2" to 6" possible 8". you have a dana 28 front axle. these are know to break axles at the universal. i would swap in a dana 35. your 7.5" rear should do fine with 33s but if you can get 8.8 i would swap that in too. and like any 4x4 make sure you match the front gear to the rear gear.

I agree with frankenbroncoII.if you are going to run anything bigger then 31s.I would get a D35 front axle out of a gen.1 Explorer{91-95} or gen.3 Ranger{93-96}and the gen.2{90 -92 Ranger with the 4.0 in it}.
