Hello everyone. I've seen in some vehicles, aftermarket gauges that show the side of a vehicle in one gauge, and the front of a vehicle in another gauge. What are those gauges and what are they used for? They look like some sort of gravity/centering gauges (shows how much of a decline you're driving and stuff like that). Anyone know what I'm talking about? Please help, I'd like to know what they are, they look pretty cool.
This is the one that JC Whitney houses...I remember them having a better selection. You may want to do some shopping around. I know you can find one similar to the one that I have (and you noted) just do some digging.
I believe they are called inclinometers or incline meters. They are most useful for off roaders who get into extreme situations. Tells how tilted the vehicle is. If you get on too steep a slope, you can roll the vehicle. Not really much use in the urban jungle.
