48-50 original firewall question

I am looking for a good picture or sketch of an original firewall to identify the proper original holes. I am in the process of filling all of the non original holes. My 49 did not come to me with the original engine. My 49 is an F-1. Also, I have two 5/16 " studs protruding into the engine bay from the passernger side of the firewall that look to be factory. What were they for? Was one a cab ground perhaps? Can somebody help?

I remember a stud or two when I welded the holes up in my firewall. Are you looking for the locations of the original "knockouts" in the firewall? I will have to go look at mine and see if I can tell.

Willard, if no-one can provide a pic for you, PM me after T-day when I get my digital camera back, I have a '48F1 without an engine in it, so a full firewall pic should be easy to do.

That would be great! I will take you up on your offer. I think I have all the non original holes plugged but I have a couple that are questionable.
