2002 F150 lighting problem

Hello--Whenever I open the door to my pickup, the interior and cargo lights come on, and stay on. They are supposed to go out after approximately 25 seconds. The battery saver feature finally turns them off after about 45 minutes. Where should I look for the problem? Thanks---

Spray lots of wd-40 in the door latches, and in between the door sheet metal and the latch, theres a micro switch that get dirty and will stick.

If that doesnt do the trick, you will have to replace the Door Ajar AKA door jamb switches. Probably the LF one that is bad. Really no way to tell easily unless you have a scan tool. They are cheap parts too. Probably $20

Thanks---I have liberally applied the wd-40 a couple of times, and so far, no luck. I'll try it a couple of more times, before I replace the switchs. What is the best way to go about replacing them?
