400 cam
Well I need some help guys. I want to put a new cam in my 1976 f150 400. I dont want any thing to big, I just want a little more power. a cam that I can use most of the stock parts with no problems.

Go to comp cam and look at either the 255DEH or the XE256. Both are excellent choices that will increase low end performance, increase mileage with the use of other options, and work with all of your stock equiptment as well as beg you to upgrade to an edlebrock performer intake, 4bbl carb, roller rockers and flat-top pistons. The pistons are the most important upgrade.

Headers will help, along with a good timing set, to set the cam stait up. If you an aftermarket cam and put it in 4 degress retarded it won't give all the cam is capable of.
