, me and my wheeling buddies have all had our experiances with them....the passage in the back that lets the fuel flow from bowl to bowl always caused problems for me, and any decent side hill, and the way they float bowls are vented let them flood the engine fairly easily on steep climbsive found carbs with heavy modification(holleys and edelbrocks can be made to run great offroad) or carbs with center hung float bowls are good off road(the q-jet and motorcraft 2 bbl)
