tire question

hi everyone greg from los angeles here..

quick question I am getting my hands on LT315/70R17 (H2 tires and rims) does anyone know if it will be a problem to put these on my 1999 expedition? I have 16's on it right now...

any input would be much appricated.

I have 11"x33" tires (285/75/16) which is pushing it and you're wanting 12.5"x34.5". I say no way unless you intend to install a lift, especially if you don't have a 4x4 or do have air suspension.

thanks allot for the info.. I was considering a lift.. do you know what i can expect to pay to get a lift done?

No, I don't because I've never priced one. I'd try a google search of 2 body lift or similar.

edit:look half way down the page, DoogieHowser has a thread going whereby he just got a 2" lift. Maybe he can shed some light.
