Believe it or not, I have a set of AC Delco wires in my van, just put them in a couple months ago and haven't had any problems yet. They were the best deal I could find with a lifetime warranty.
The folks at Magnecor have provided a wealth of knowledge regarding spark plug wires. That's all they do. I ran them on my '88 Thunderbird TurboCoupe. i plan to get them for my STS Seville.
What did you pay for your AC Delcos?
They should be ok. However, I doubt anyone else here can vouche for them. As to the Magnecor, they are considerably better than other performance wires, and are probably compareable to OEM, however, is the price difference justified in a non-performance application?
On something emission related like plug wires, it is hard to beat manufacturer specs. remember you can build a very cheap part with the intent of replacing it a few times, but the manufacturer must seriously replace them parts and LABOR during the first 50000 miles. They are motivated to build good stuff, I would think delco or ford or whatever parts dodge calls itself would all have good parts.
Some years ago, I asked the autozone guy why the lifetime alternator had to be repalced every 20k, his response was that they want you back in the store to buy other stuff.
