Truck contents stolen - help!

Last week my truck was broken into and stolen. Luckily got the truck back, but everything inside was taken. All the locks and door latch are now fixed (about $600) and I'm working on the contents. Most of the important paperwork is being replaced, but the web site (helm.com) says the Owners Manual Portfolio is out of print. Does anyone know of another source? This is not the biggest crisis, but a manual would make me less peevish. Eventually I'll get all the other stuff (oils, hardware and parts, programmer, etc.) replaced, but the manuals have important reminders about how to maintain the truck. Its amazing to find out that even some of the Ford techs don't know when to use green and gold coolant, or when to use plain Mercon in the tranny. The manual is handy to wave under their noses.
Thanks for any help
Warren

Very sorry to hear about your truck. I use "The Club" religiously after I found out someone tried to steal my winch off the front of the truck.
Have you tried a junk yard? There should be a few totals that might have a manual in the glove box.

Sorry warren, that really stinks. I just looked at books 4 cars on the web and they have your model. It's a about 39 bucks. I have ordered from them before. I recommend calling them, not ordering on line. Find out if it really is in stock. They are nice people in Seattle. Good luck

I can't help with the stuff that got taken but make sure you look at your credit report. A buddy of mine is having big problems right now with this. His rig was broken into and he thinks all they took was the registration and proof of insurance. This was only about a month ago. So far they have tried to open 5 different credit accounts.

Wings: Yup, ordered the diesel supplement too.
Vancouverpower: Wow; thanks for the heads up. Checked Equifax; nothing has happened yet. I have now filed a 90 day fraud alert with all of the credit reporting agencies, and will be notified if any attempt is made to open a new line of credit.
Thanks again for warning me.
