NEW PS Gear box??
I think my truck 97-f350 PSD , needs a new steering gear box. I have about 2 inches of play in my steering wheel. I tightend the box as much as I can. but my wheel is still loose. I was wondering if it is woth getting a used box fromthe junk yard for $125 o buyinga new one. thanks J

You should be able to get a rebuilt gear from Autozone, NAPA, etc., for around $200. You can also go to FOMOCO and get a new or rebuilt with the new one going for around $400. Depending on the miles and condition of the junkyard unit that may not e a bad option either.
