another gauge question

Well I am looking to buy some gauges for my truck. The problem is I dont want any bling bling gauges. I would like some that will look as close to factory as I can get. I would like to find some that light up the green color just like the rest of my dash. It would drive me mad looking at them at night when my dash is green and the gauges light up another color. Anybody know of any gauges that will look like they are factory?

Yup,
Get the ISSPROs and you won't be dissatisfied. We have COMPLETE kits with everything you'll need including a great set of instructions. Choose the Black Dial, Black Bezel, Red Pointer series of gauges and they'll match your OE gauges better than anything else avaiable. If you have any question before you buy just give us a call. We be glad to assist you.

I ordered the ISSPRO gauges and they look great. Make sure you check the thermocouple if you get the threaded style. They have changed the threads to 1/8 NPT, the directions said 1/4 NPT. There is a slip of paper in the thermocouple box that says to disregard the instruction and tap 1/8 threads but unfortunately I didn't see it before I drilled. I drilled the bigger hole and had to call and get a bigger sleeve for the thermocouple. They were very nice and helpful at Diesel Manor. I hope to get the sleeve today and finish the install. Get the gauges, they are great. Just pay closer attention than I did.

First-
On a scale of 1-10, 1 being super easy (my kids could install it) and 10 being tough (mechanic training first) how tough are the gauges to install?
Second-
I like the under dash mount, but then where do you put the brake controller? :-)
Hmmmm, decisions......
Thanks!

You can mount the brake controller on the bottom side of your steering column. Mine is not there, but my friends is and it works and looks nice.

I would say the gauge install is about a 5, nothing too hard. Just have the right tools and follow the directions. Check out Dieselmanor.com for instructions, that will give you a pretty good idea. I mounted my Prodigy brake controller where the garbage hook is on the dash. The screws that hold the hook line up with brake controller mounting bracket. I think I had to buy longer screws though. It looks and works good there and you don't have to drill holes in the dash. I like to keep my dash as hole free as possible. Hope this helps!

I Would Go With The Isspros Aslo. I Have Them In My Truck.
As Far As The Green Background Lights... There Are Sleeves Available For The Bulbs When You Buy Them ( Look Like Little Condums ) . Slip Those On The Bulbs And You Have The Factory Look Of Green Lighting.
I Mounted Mine In A Pillar Mount. Check My Gallery.

These are the ones I have as well. They look great, about a four hour install.
