I will start by stating I rebuilt my heater box last year and have upgraded my blower motor to the 79 Chevy motor, which comes with a bigger hamster cage.
My 67 only has two defrost vents left and right, I think my non-running 74 has one in the middle too, or at least an open hole there. I need to check this out.
Just wondering if anybody out there has made any awesome upgrades to the defroster ducts / system that keep the windshield clear?
Even with rain x no-frost I still have to fight the sides and middle at times.
You could try to rig an auxcillary heater there is write up on a Classic broncos.Com site.Under new tech to the left of the screen.
My heater i found in a van,had to fix the heater cord for $75.
not bad for free.Haa!
I have the liquid cool raditator out of a 80s Honda Shadow plus it has a built in fan already.Perfect fit for under the rear seat.It almost more pratical to run this heater ,then my current location.(Future rollcage).
The heater i picked-up was a older Tempco heater. It was aftermarket not a factory heater, basically consists of a blower and heater core..
Like i said the 80s honda 750 liquid cool rad with a built in blower would work excellent also.It could fit under a seat front or rear.
