bad differential

i have the limited slip differential. 3.37 gears and ive had about 4 clutch packs and some other work done back there already. it goes in for replacement about every 7000 miles. is doing donuts causing this premature wear? i mean of course its contributing since its a little harder than just regular driving; but its not every single day and i dont do it on dry pavement but sometimes i do donuts when im in snow or dirt and when its raining i like to fishtail the occasional wide right turns. you know when you see the opportunity you just can help it especially in san diego where its sunny and warm over 325 days a year

also whats a ballpark estimate on new clutchpacks once the warranty is up?

the donuts are exactly whats causing it. the clutch packs were nevr made to do that. a clutch pack job runs 7to 800.00

ahh i figured. i thought it would last longer than that though i mean it happens so infrequently.

once the packs are gone its just going to run like an open differential?
