This guy doesn't even learn the HARD way...
I would just like to say that this should be a lesson on what NOT to do when dealing over the internet.
Basically, the guy (Charlie-Cdubon40s or w/e) was trying to sell his 4.88 gears over Pirate 4x4. He advertised them at $100 + $15 shipping...whether or not he did that on purpose, we don't know. When a user sent him the money, Charlie cashed the check, and then questioned why the check was only for $100. He said that he MEANT $125, and then wouldn't give the user the gears...OR his money back. After this, he went and edited his original post, to where it stated $125. Not only that, but he advertised them as new, never used. He had them in a 2wd GM on 40" meats for a while.
He committed mail fraud, and instead of quickly correcting his apparent mistake, he cashed the check, and wouldn't give the user his gears. After that, the shat hit the fan, and the whole board just got on him.
What are your opinions on this?
